Board of Education Vacancy
The Western School District is seeking applications from interested community members to fill a short term appointment on the Board of Education due to the resignation of board member Susan Conklin.  This appointment is through the November 2016 general election.
 

The November 2016 general election will determine who will complete the remaining two (2) years of Mrs. Conklin’s six (6) year term ending December 31, 2018.

Persons interested in this short term appointment should respond with a letter of interest providing name, address, contact information, and why you would like this board appointment, no later than noon on Thursday, July 9, 2015 to Western School District, Attn: Dr. John Sheets, Board President, 1400 S. Dearing Road, Parma, MI 49269.
 
Candidates must be registered voters of the Western School District.

Middle School Dress Code Policy
At the most recent Board of Education meeting, a new dress code policy was adopted for the middle school.  The new dress code was created with the purpose of providing a clear, consistent, appropriate and manageable policy for students, parents, and staff members.  In order to help you and your children prepare for the upcoming school year, please take some time to read through the updated policy.
